Your last error is fixed by going to xampp/phpmyadmin/inc.config.php

If you're using the new xampp i think they removed that page where you'd make the mysql password, so just use this: > mysqladmin.exe -u root password YourPasswordHere in xampp shell

Looks to me like he installed xampp, and stand alone mysql and it's open at the moment, lol. Yeah just close your standalone mysql server, relaunch xampp and you should be fine > "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin\mysqladmin" -u root shutdown
