Which is more affordable Windows or Mac OS
And Why?
More affordable? Windows is the obvious answer, you can get a full on gaming PC for the price of a mid-spec Macbook running MacOS.
For the price, I personally don't believe theres any competition, however if you take what @JynX said into consideration, it really does matter what you do on it, I know that some of the best coders on here (@Sledmore, @Markshall ) Use MacOS, likewise myself. However if you're looking to game, theres really no competition, it has to be Windows ( @Sledmore will know about that!)
Overall, it really does depend on what your limitations are (budget) as well as what you plan on doing with it.

Sledmore uses Mac at work, it'd make more sense that his at home computers ran Windows because he does C# development.

I've used Windows for years, since I was about 7, up until I was about 21. That's a long time. The last Windows machine I had was a 15"6' laptop which is a standard size, I was bored of the size and kind of bored of the OS.

I have an iPad, iPhone and Apple TV, and I love how the products seamlessly work together. I also wanted a desktop computer with a bigger screen as I seemed to just keep my laptop hooked up to an external monitor for extra screen size. Due to all that criteria, an iMac seemed logical to me, I also love Apple products (inb4 Apple fag).

Not looked back since.

I feel like Apple only works with Apple, but that's just my thought..

I've had a mac, but my primary OS is Windows, it really all depends on what you use it for..

We had iMacs in high school, programming was a bloody delight. I can truly see why programmers and designers would use a Mac as their goto system, I'm not quite sure what brought the whole trend of people buying them for the sake of owning one. A friend of mine has a Mac I still doesn't know what the Terminal does.

Windows 8.1 + uxstyle and some UI modifications, very stable.
I still have windows 10 installed but i'm starting to get sick of everything breaking after 6 months or so

I've used both but funny enough I ended up going back to Windows, it highly depends on what you want to use each of them for really.
