What motivates you to code

Well lately I have had no motivation to code and or try to learn anymore languages ect so im wondering what makes you motivated to code and learn coding?
I personally used to try and beat a friend at it but he has stopped since I had bet him

Knowing what you could achieve at the end of a project. Even though I have such a short concentration span, coding is the one thing I can stick to for a long time.

Music, will to learn more, and the thought of doing this for the rest of my life motivates me. But nothing (absolutely NOTHING) beats the motivation my GF gives me.

Simply because I find it fun, no other reason, really.
