I just bought the "Resource Manager" from XenForo, and I was wondering what categories I should put in there. Basically it allows you to put resources in it, upload new revisions, notify people who are watching that resource, etc. It's a really handy tool that I think could benefit DevBest, especially for people who have projects and want an easy way to distribute their stuff.

Here's what it actually looks like in a more mature setting:

Do you want them to be specific such as blog scripts, cms, games, habbo etc..
or maybe categories by programming language?/ does it support sub categories?

Not really sure, open to all ideas. I'd like it to be well organized, so that if someone were looking for something, it'd be pretty obvious.

Don't think you answered his 3rd question which is mine also - Does it support sub sections?

We don't want to promote Habbo right now. I would recommend gaming addons/mods and website development? Scripts etc.

My bad, yes it does support one additional sub section I believe.

Here's an example:

Here's an example:
In that case differentiating between different programming languages, and then having a sub-section in those (is it possible to have multiple, or is 1 the absolute maximum?) telling what kind of application/scripts (e.g; cms, blog scripts, desktop applications) can be found within the different categories would be good.

If that doesn't work, I'd say Kaz's list would be good (with the exception of Habbo)
blog scripts, cms, games etc..

Awesome, then how about start off simple and base it via a category?
Scripts, graphics and then once they start to expand and more people use them, expand the sections:
Scripts - PHP
Ajax
Java
etc....
Graphics - Logos
Templates
etc....

FYI Habbo was used as an example, i wasn't saying that had to be a section
