Alerts are probably the worst possible way to do anything towards the end user, but yeah I guess this will reduce the damage they cause. I read somewhere about a new "smooth" alter, although I can't find a link to the specific post. It was basically instead of interupting the entire page (like a modal pop up) it appears in the bottom right of the page with the info needed. Something like that anyway.

Anyway, nice share teso mayn.

Yeah I agree I would personally rather use something that doesn't disrupt the user who is on my webpage but rather have something appear just to let them know.

Too many pop ups or ads cause a lot of people to not visit your site - Like me with our rival forum
