I think it would be helpful if people where going to make a post and if the LAST REPLY is older then 2 months it would say

"This thread is ___ days / months / years old, you can still post but are you sure you want to do so?"

Hosting isn't free.
If there is a plugin for this, then sure - link it. If there isn't, it's very unlikely this would happen.
