In early February I bouht the Sims 3 and now I can't stop playing it. Now, I have been a Sims fan since the Sims 2 came out and I love the Sims, but What do you think of it? I have found some advantages and disadvantages with The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 Which are listed below.
Things that you can do in 3 that you couldn't in 2
Things that were better in The Sims 2
Exploring The Town
Your Sim now lives in The town of Mountain Vista. It is on the coast somewhere. When You go into town, You can get a job in town, talk to neighbors and other members of the town. There are many activities you can do in town. Swim (There is a Public Pool, The Beach, and 4 lakes in town) Catch a show (The Theatre shows Plays, symphonies, concerts and movies, the Stadium shows concerts and games) Eat (There is a diner and a fancy resteraunt dubbed "bistro") Shop (You can buy books at the bookstore and food at the supermarket) Other Activites (Workout at the gym, Read At The Library, Mourn At the Cemetery)
Advancing Skills
You have the ability to advance your skills by taking classes in town, Buying books at the bookstore, or using an item that involves that skill (IE. Cleaning skill will raise when you clean the toilet)
Housebuilding was Better
Before, you could build your own home customized to your liking. Outside and everything. Now, You can buy a prefab home based on which type of style you like and to build, you must build inside the homes exterior walls.
Sociability was better
You could used to be able to pick up the phone and throw a party, it would invite most of your friends over. You could also become friends with someone by trapping them in a hot tub together. Now There are no hot tubs anyways.
So, Again What Do you think of the Sims 3?
