Laine

This is a template rip-off from Baz's CSS and as well as to PhoenixCF 2 of Sojobo.

What's the matter if it's a rip-off?
I'll be modifying more of the template and aswell as I will fix the pixel location of the sidebox and mainbox from BAZ'S CSS, I am somewhat kind of newbie in CSS making so don't expect beauty of this CSS.

Why mix it up?
I found PhoenixCF 2 appearance cool in the eye and as well as smooth to see that is why I tried to mix 'em up.

Releases
Unless I am finished fixing all the dis-alignment from the CSS I am going to make, I'll give you previews, the release will be final when I had satisfied myself.

Fixed needed:
  • Alignment of the text to the header of the dividers
  • Logo that will fit the CSS
  • Footer to be fixed soon
I needed to work from the start since I ripped off the copyright footer, but I'm bringing it back once I finished the whole template.

Hope me luck!

  • [x] Alignment of the text to the header of the dividers
  • Logo that will fit the CSS
  • Footer to be fixed soon

To Do List:
  1. Be able to put up a documentation on how you can change the position of the boxes.
  2. Be able to easily edit the contents.
  3. Be able to make multi-color for LaineCSS (like of PhoenixCF 2 by Sojobo)
  4. Be able to make more innovations after this [such as addons/plugins]
  5. Finish the footer

release it kty
I will release it sooner, I am making the announcement bar aswell as I am going to fix the corners of the navbar. :)

Thats ugly... But sense it is for learning purposes it works!
I know, I am learning how to work it, aswell as I am making different variety sizes for purposes so that when I release the whole template, they can simply fix the height and weight in the webpage. ^_^

Updates:
  • Announcement area & footer added
  • 'navbar' is the div id for announcements, footer and navigator

I am currently working on various-sized sideboxes (example is on the prizes list, it's too big to fit that's why the lower part didn't appear, plus I am still working on it), and I am also working on the navbar corners to make it a bit rounder.

Take note: You can put the announcement area below too, like this one. The coding is easy that's why you may locate the bars yourself.

NOTE: The first photo is just a hotel sample, it's not existing nor real, and I make it to see how much it can fit, but oh well, that's a sneek preview.

Bulletin Note: I will release the latest version, if you'd like for an older version release, try editing it for yourselves since I cannot index all of my updates at once - at the next CSS release, I might be able to... ;)

I am aiming to do next is, Sidebox/Mainbox/Box with Avatars attached at sides. :)

Not continuing the box headers with avatar 'cause it seems to hide/lowen the boxes or hide portions of it and hide the texts as well. Instead I'll focus up on a new layout, but same template.

As I said, I am still working on it, but don't worry, before I release it to others, I'll give it to you first. Kay?

No offence, but it looks like shit imo.
This need loads of work, and looks nothing like what you are ripping them off.

I am using the layout of Baz and the Phoenix CF 2 looks of Sojobo, this would be for fansite makers like me.
And I know, might take me month/s to finish this...

Instead of having to manually change the height throw some padding on it and remove the css height:; code
I am still newbie for such ~ maybe if I'll get start from the scratch, I'll be asking your help - for now, I'll be trying ripping the two off.

UPDATES:
  • I am making up a wide box wherein it'll size like of an article content.
  • I am making up still several sizes of box due to the fact school sucks my schedule.
  • I am going to release it sooner... :)

Ending up the history of LaineCSS, for the sake I don't bother myself, and for Otaku, if you're making it to CMS, make sure you give me credits.

Here's the dl link:

PS: I know it's crap.

You have waaaaaay too many divs. Get rid of some. The thing about Aaron/Sojobo's Phoenix CF 2.0 is that it's a nice simple layout.

If you want a much better version of my layout, get it here:

I know it's terribly ugly, but eh, it was my very first layout, it still has way too many divs and tables etc but atleast it's aligned correctly this time. Thanks for the credits anyway :) Hopefully this will lead to something good.

I might rip that next time.
how the fuck do you rip something that's been given to you?

Anyhow, looking good for being your first. I never thought of using others templates to learn when i started so the idea is great! Hopefully this will turn out to be good. Good luck!

Well, that's my technique in learning. Ripping off someone's work. x]]

technically it's not ripping if you get the software/template from the creator. So you can't rip the next one, but you can still use it as a base ^^
