Refreshing help? :S

Can't find this anywhere tbh and rather confused.

I want only a section of something to refresh, only when something changes it will refresh by itself.

Example; This is what I want to refresh -

But I only want it to refresh when something updates, like if I change staff page to community page it will only refresh then? If you understand ...
