[QUOTE="iJackson, post: 102882, member: 13757"] Why do you want a retro? If you are thinking about making a retro, before you start or think again. 1. Fun, we all love fun. But when we are having "fun" you as a "retro owner" would never want lagg or disconnections. This really funks up the fun in your retro! Say if you were with your friends at an example: staff hosted pool attack, nek minute. A lagg wave strikes, you lost before you know it! 2. Profit, are you opening up a retro on a shitty home computer? Paying nothing for quality dedicated virtual private server (vps), cracked phoenix emulator? This is where it gets shitty, nobody will join if it's a home hosted piece of shit. A cracked Phoenix emulator. A ip link that is forgetful. If you want good amount of users buy: Vps, Phoenix emulator and a dot.com domain. 3. Offers, make your retro unique. Don't use the same old rooms, custom furniture, cms. Make your retro spark, have a play around and see what happens. Retros like static hotel is very very budget. It has the same v.i.p, rare of the week, same bitchy staff and shit homeroom. Make your retro 1.st place on thehabbos. 4. Users, advertising. Holy shit! Why even have it on your rules list when you end up breaking it on another retro. How the hell would you feel if you had 600+users then 50 advertisers come along then 300 people join it. How would you feel if you were in that retro owners Shoes with advertisers. 5. Be active, fun, updative etc. that is the best part of owning a retro. You always get to experiment, meet new people and be your own boss! I hope this has honestly got you thinking before you go into the steps of making a retro more information will be posted overtime. For now, have an good experience on devbest and Habbo retros!
