Is it possible to use a Windows USB keyboard and mouse on a Power Mac G4, without any third party programs, as my OS crashed and I need to reinstall, but I no longer have the mouse and keyboard for a Mac.

I thought so, but when I plug them in, they don't do anything.

I know it's possible on a iMac because I've done that before.

Can you send me the USB specs? Click on the Apple, go to About this Mac... and choose More Info... and choose USB from the list.

It should be possible to use any keyboard though. I'm sorry that I can't help you with this issue, since I don't know any additional way.

If not, I will wait until I go to my dads and grab my extra mac stuff.

I just wanted it setup so I can do some coding on it.

Unfortunately, Windows hardware is notorious for not working on Mac based computers. I have both a logitech keyboard and a standard headset, and they both refuse to work on my iMac.
