[Poem] The Dreamer

Well I have a English coursework assignment so I thought I'll search my poem here goes lolol, my assignment was going to be a story or a poem I was writing a story but something made me change my mind,

The Dreamer


The feather falls
into the mouth of the natter jack toad
choking the effects of mandrake
the haunted head of confused youth
gasps and folds into the emptiness
of misshaped hopes.

I thought I would write this about shattered dreams in the confusion of mistrust.
