PC to TV?

I was selling my 18.5" PC monitor on eBay buy ended the listing and ordered a VGA to HDMI cable to use it as my TV for my Xbox. What I am wondering is, how would I get to my AV channel without using a remote control like I would on a TV to play my games?

If you're talking about showing the xbox channel on your monitor, it should read the input into the VGA/DVI/HDMI ports in the monitor automatically

You have to give me the make of the monitor you have, otherwise I probably can't help you. the options are:
A. If its reading the source, it should show up automatically.
B. There should be a Source button somewhere on your monitor.
