Hey devbest,
Heres the situation, My PC over the past two years has without a doubt accumultated its fair share of gunk and junk software, pireateware etc. It honestly hasnt bothered me just sitting there but just yesterday nero start smart failed to burn a cd for me so I have decided to reimage my machine.
The bad news is that dell doesnt send windows CD's with their products so I just got it pre-installed (XPS 8700)
If i were to legally download a copy of Windows & home premimum (service pack 1, my current OS) and mount it onto a cd and reimage using the same windows key as written on the back of my desktop wil it work?
Or is that product key only allowed to be used once?
