MySQL throwing connection error

So basically, I am trying to connect MySQL database to the JDBC and it's not letting me do it,

I use laptop in admin mode, I mean my user "MrH" has admin priorities, Not sure why is this happening though

what is the path to the MySQL data folder? it's most likely in Program Files and Windows is not letting you write to it. check permissions and/or move the data dir to another location

Just because an account is an administrator does not mean everything runs in admin mode.

Try updating your MySQL server, also doesn't MySQL have a error log?
