MYSQL database to send an email if a table is editted.

Hello, My site collects data and stores it into a simple mysql database. I could do with knowing if any data is added to my database without having to scrawl through the database. Is it possible for somebody to write me a sql query or whatever would be require, to send me an email if the DB is editted / another row is added. If its not possible then just let me know below.

He is saying if someone goes onto php my admin and changes something, can he server side send an email to himself saying what is edited, changed and who by sorta thing

I decide to edit the php form to send an email. Dumb of me.. but, thanks everyone
