Well, what's your opinion on MSN nowadays? And which version did you prefer?

My opinion:
after the 2009 version came it's been far worse. The 2010 and 2011 BETA is CRAP compared to the 2009 version and they should NEVER have started forcing their users to upgrade to the new versions.

Comment on a roll!

I would definatly agree. I had the 2009 version and it worked quite well, then MSN won't let me use the old one and made me install the new one. Well I installed the new one, it runs like crap and doesn't have that good of an interface. However, I personally like the "Today" Feature on it (Even though most people don't) It brings the news and things right to my MSN.

The new msn is a piece of shit. I don't even use it anymore because that's how much I hate it. If I need to use msn I just use ebuddy or meebo.

Agreed! I don't know wtf msn is doing, but when Skype updates it gets better, when msn updates it gets 5 times worse.. I've started to wonder if they rape it or something...

I like the new msn apart from the fact you can't give yourself a nickname, it has to be your full name. Also Messenger Plus 5 was released today so I'm happy. :)

I still use MSN 2009 and use it on a daily basis. I just havent installed it via the Essentials 2011 update
If you do install the update, uninstall the MSN and install the 2009 one, worked for me :D

Yeh install it, then once its installed, go to uninstall essentials 2011 and uninstall the MSN 2011. They install the 2009 version, worked perfect for me

I did also install that update, but after a little research i found out that this update actually was an update to the security. Yes it is a part of the 2011 version, but it works like it's allways done for me. I still use the 2009 version. ;]
