Nah, I ain't coded nothing for Minecraft, woulod love to learn how, but also, I've quit Minecraft now, simple fact I installed my Windows 7 again and it doesn't work for me on windows 7, but back on topic, this will just update your client to the latest version if you click the force update button.

It's useful for multi-player servers, as somethings you may return a Java error, when really all is needed is an updated client.

Minecraft updater is for people who have an hacked account for minecraft and havent payed. Meaning they can update to the latest one.

This is extremely old, do not use this, I no longer player Minecraft myself, your best bet is to check another thread.
