From my point of view and this is only my opinion on how i see this:

1. Losing your soul to the devil is like saying I became a servant for the devil so he could do me stuff.
2. You're never losing your soul as long as you're a good/strong beleiver (that's if you're following any religion).
3. In Islam Allah said something Devil worshipping wich is apart of what some says "Selling your soul to the devil" cause if "seel your soul to the devil" it's like you're worshipping him, Allah says "Did I not enjoin you, sons of Adam not worship Satan he is your open enemy".
4. In my opinion it's possible (not like really sell the soul, but as said earlier that's just like saying became a servant for the devil), tough i don't know why would a human being with a mind go worship/sell his soul to the devil.
