How to Update Emulator

Hi this may seem odd but it appears that even on a shutdown, my emulator will not take the edits that I make to my files. Is there a way to force the emulator to update?

When you removed the staff badge above your head, did you debug your emulator?

Are you debugging using visual studio or editing the .cs files through some notepad?

Use Visual Studio and debug the emulator when you're done editing.

I have opened the PlusEMU folder. I then click on C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\PlusEMU\Plus Emulator.csproj I then try to click debug? I have tried this approach but it says: Could not find the preLaunchTask 'npm'.

When i go to launch this file, VS Community opens Plus Emulator.csproj and on the right hand side it says that it is Incompatible. Any idea what is going on? I would imagine I try to click that Attach / Green play button but that gives me an error that the Object could not be completed.

Not sure where to go from here.
