How to Sneak in an iPod?

Well, I have a trip this coming friday, and I want to know how to get my Ipod Classic through the metal detectors. Any help?

You won't get it through, even if you got it through metal detectors they have X-Rays for luggage ;P
Also I don't think there is a way to hide it from detectors.

you cant, to do so would require you to insult the metal in something that excludes magnetic fields.
a metal detector creates a rapidly oscillating, magnetic field which induces electrical currents in the metal to oppose the changing magnetic field. this creates a force on the object creating the magnetic field. this force is detected indicating the presence of metal

I have to go through the scanners, wait like an hour for everyone to come in the auditorium, then we take the train. I was thinking about hiding it somewhere, and get it when we leave the building.

I am pretty sure that you are allowed to bring it with you? Just ask the guard, and if you aren't allowed to take it, go put it in the car.

To get it pass through it you put it in the box they give you, they pass it through a different scanner, if there is nothing suspicious inside the iPod it will pass.
