[HELP] Skype Chats

Well... As most of you probably know, on Skype when someone messages you, you get an alert, right?
Like this:

Well to just one person on my contacts, I don't get alerts from them for some reason
But when he messages me with "LOL" or I message him, it highlights in yellow.

And if he sends me "lol/LOL" in a message, I get alerts.

It's fucking annoying. I thought it was something do do with finding text (CTRL+F) but I don't think it is.
Can anyone help?

Highlight the contact’s name in the Contacts list so you can see the chat window for this contact. Click on the "Conversation" menu and select "Notification settings". Select/unselect there the appropriate option for the notifications.
