Help! Retro Errors

i have to problems making a retro
1: my emu when i run it says Error in server statues update task caught
2: when i go to the ip of the hotel is says: Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
for this i did check my password on phpadmin and the config they are both the same.. please help!!!

You're configuration file hasn't be completed. You can locate your configuration file in app > management > config.

You have not entered your MySQL configuration there is plenty of tutorials on here, if you can't change something in a config file just advice don't make a hotel.
