How do you set up so I can access my VPS hotel database from Navicat on my home compueter. I know that it is possible because I have done it before.

Make a user with host % and grant all privileges. Make sure you allow port 3306 on your VPS firewall to access your database anytime using that user. Use a strong username & password to prevent someone from randomly accessing it.

Not unless if he uses a strong username and password that is almost impossible to guess. And putting % means the user can be accessed through any IP. facepalm.jpg
And he will also need to portforward 3306. This was solved already. facepalm.jpg
