I have been thinking of vacations that I could go on recently, and a cruise sounds appealing (and rather cheap). With that being said, I was wondering what your impressions of a cruise are, which company you went with, etc.

P&O I went with on the Ventura ship, it wasn't as good because you're limited with some activity unlike being on land on holiday.

The entertainment was fine and the activity's were like swimming and shopping (DEAR SHOPS!!), I didn't like it, in my opinion it was more or less for people older than me there wasn't much to do on there for kids, but for adults there were fancy restaurants and resting places.

Good points were we did visit vibrant places what was cool and I loved the swimming pool out front, and I enjoyed it but the last couple of days we just got bored of moving about and being limited with things to do.

Toooo long, but for you I would say you would like it.

I've never been on a cruise but I've heard that they limit you. Like you have a schedule where you have to do certain things at certain times?

I have been on a crusie, my first cruise I went with Royal Caribbean.
I went to Mexico and Belize setting off from Tampa
Also i have been on one that went around the Mediterranean Sea, i wouldnt recommend one of these as the sea is pretty rough.

I prefer ones that set sail from the states and travel to South American Islands as the sea is pretty calm

Plenty of on-board entertainment, also quite a few activities, rock climbing, pool, shuffle board, game arcade rooms. Shops, lots of food :D
Some of the newer ones have like surfing simulators (i think thats the company that runs the Voyager of the Seas Crusies)

In some aspects it is limited, however you can book excursions when you hit mainland or optionaly you can just chill at the port as there are lots of stuff at the ports or you can travel into the new country yourself (as long as you get back on-board on time)
