I was just getting some string when I was in absolutely no danger and......BOOM! Game over.

I'd had 2 close shaves before, but this time I was quite calm

#1: Starving to death, found some mushrooms, harvested them, made a workbench, made some bowls, made some stew ate it on 1.5 hearts.

#2 Decided to go outside, 3 skeletons, bad idea, ran back in, skeleton blocking the door - I escaped with 1 heart.

lol wear armor next time, wearing full diamond armor only brings you down 1-3 hearts when a creeper explodes next to you

true true, leave it on peacefull go dig up some iron make an armor, even though its not as safe as diamond iron is still good while fighting mob's
when you have your self an armor put it back on med/hard, preferably hard and kik ass

It's hardcore mode - you can't change the difficulty.
