343 Industries officially announced the upcoming of Halo - Master Chief Collection to be released Fall of 2014 which consists of all four Halo games having updated graphic interface and dedicated servers all on one disc. The package includes over 100 multiplayer maps all the way back from Halo - Combat Evolved to Halo 4 including all the pre-set rules the original games had.
Example: Halo 2 allowed dual wield guns which will be back in return of any Halo 2 maps.
This is honestly the best idea that has occurred for the Halo fans who all enjoyed playing the older versions and having them all combined. Also mentioned in the presentation video that Halo 5: Guardians will be released sometime next year, but the beta will be available this holiday for multiplayer experience.
