GTA IV Installation Help!

Hey,

Can someone talk me through how to set up GTA IV because it never works for me!

Press install on steam, type in rockstar details, login into games for windows live. done

What error do you get? Make sure you grab the latest:

You must be registered for see links

The one shipped with the disk is old and doesn't auto update.

What part are you stuck on? Generally you just click next and accept the terms...

it gets stuck on the installation release date part and will never let me proceed

Have you tried running it as an administrator? What OS do you use?
Does t give you an error message

I read in a forum post that if you change your windows date to: "august 2014, any month, any day" then it will proceed with the installation (many users agree this works). I'm guessing the installer wasn't designed to be used so far after the release date, kinda pathetic if you ask me.
