Family Guy - Brian 'to make a come back'?

I reckon he could come back and that's all good, everyone will be happy but I'm wondering what's going to happen to the other dog? He's been created and has a contract for the whole of series 11 and the whole of series 12.

So I wonder if they'll be keeping both dogs or if the appearance of Brian will be just a one night wonder.

Agree @Lepos I think Brian will be bought for back for the christmas episode as some sort of dream of ghost but that'll be it.
