Hi,
Sorry if its in the wrong place. Do move if needed!
Ive bought myself a dedi from someone and had proxmox setup on it. Made a windows VM on it fine but when using the ipv4 config on network to add an IP to it, it fails to connect to the DNS servers.
Used OpenDNS, Level3 DNS, Googles DNS, some other dns and nothing positive.
The VM notices an 'IP Conflict' with a CT so it connects to the gateway fine.
IP is in the set range too (tried the Container IP too and failed)
Not sure if the subnet mask is right though. Used 255.255.255.255, 255.255.255.0, 255.255.0.0, 255.0.0.0 and 255.255.255.198 but nothing positive. The Container shows the mask as '255.255.255.255' so persuming its that one.
Any help please?
