Well I thought that DevBest.com would be so much better if you hired someone to host regular competitions for the community for example.. There is a forum that is called Forum Competitions and then the Competition Manager host's games and you can win badges or months...


I know this is already happening but maybe make it more frequent?

Not really, the Event Host don't need any special powers they contact administrator after to give awards

I do believe competitions and prizes bring the community together, hence the reason the PHP Coding Competition is here, it is to bring everyone into the coding mood and bring the community together. As this is pretty much a community of developers and wanna-be developers we should have coding related competitions. I do like the idea, but I think there should be other prizes different than subscription, such as a user bars, or something different.
