Casinos are back?

Recently, I heard Habbo moderators were made redundant to be replaced by an automatic system that will deal with reports. People have already started making casino rooms, which have been reported but no action has been taken.

What are your thoughts?

Users would definitely come back to Habbo if Casino's are back. I've seen many people commenting "bring back casinos" on Habbo's Facebook page posts over the past two years. #MakeHabboGreatAgain
 
So, the ambassadors are onto the Casino's and they're muting the room owners. That's the most they can do at the moment. rip lol

Update: Macklebee aka the software developer for Habbo finally decides to come online (he's never online) and mutes the room.

And he failed to kick all the users from the room LOL

Furniture is now locked in there, luckily I get all my drags, nellys and trophies back by leaving the group.
 
However, that room shouldn't have been locked.

The trading was set to owner only, and the description was set to 'This room is purely for nostalgic purposes. No gambling is allowed.'.

Furthermore to that, Habbo itself has said the following:

"For the sake of clarity, Casino Rooms as a theme are not forbidden, but placing bets by outcome of a random element is. You can however use dice to facilitate a game of skill (e.g. everyone who rolls a 1 or 3 is on the red team!)"

You know stuff is bad when one of the developers have to take over the role of the moderators. They will probably make some automated detection for casino's too.

If Habbo wanted their fan base back, bring casinos back simple and remove the app store app. The app store app is glitchy nd shit and outdated and over time they've promised to update it but nothing gets released, its rarely updated. Best thing for Sulake to do now is to remove the app, restrict the game to maybe a higher age where gambling is legal such as 18 but I do know there is still people younger than 18 who play this game (fuck knows how cus habbo is so boring). Funny that Macklebee actually joked around a bit, shows it isn't really that serious but can see it changing in the future e.g when sulake run out of money to run the game overall.

Macklebee took action against everyone who opened a gambling room. Besides that, it takes way more than just raising the age to 18. Besides losing over 50% of their userbase while doing that, they won't recover from such actions. You're not being realistic.

Could work, its a 50/50 risk. Most of their userbase is 18+ virgins, no offence. The youngers probs 17 or 16. You don't see alot younger than that. But Yeah I do agree it won't be realistic but in a time It could possible happen but not right now. I don't think they want that stress especially with this new automated system with moderation.

You obviously don't know how it works. They'd need a different license for every country. It's not just the age, lol. Besides that, if they only can get 18+ users, they'd die out in a year. People around that age won't join Habbo, because they have other games or better things to do. More like a 90/10 risk.

I found it silly they took casinos away to began with.
However since they are back but in a ghetto way i dont see many people using them like the good old days

They now run them from number blocks, it's hard to wire but i built some pretty good ones.
