Also, It's the syllabus set by the University of Cambridge for Advanced Levels. My school is not at all old.. and is one of the top schools in my country generating the best results. I just have no idea why they chose PASCAL over Python and Visual Basic. Well, Visual Basic was not selected because we don't use Microsoft stuff at school.
