Oh I see, the symbols are repeated a lot.

From what I counted, there are only 25 options out of 99 numbers. Plus the numbers that get the same result..

 

So,

• All numbers from 01 to 09 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '0'.
• All numbers from 10 to 19 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '9'.
• All numbers from 20 to 29 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '18'.
• All numbers from 30 to 39 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '27'.
• All numbers from 40 to 49 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '36'.
• All numbers from 50 to 59 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '45'.
• All numbers from 60 to 69 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '54'.
• All numbers from 70 to 79 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '63'.
• All numbers from 80 to 89 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '72'.
• All numbers from 90 to 95 will always give the same result, the symbol from the number '81'.

Actually, there are only 9 possible options.

 

So, the trick is that they always shuffle the symbols. But the symbols from the numbers above will always be the same.

 

Symbol of 9 = Symbol of 18 = Symbol of 27 and so on.

 

So, there's always only 1 option. It's impossible that he doesn't give you the right answer.
