The title is quite self explanatory, what are in your opinion the best or most tragic game endings of all times. You can also debate why with others. This is my personal top 3. SPOILER ALERT 3: Modern Warfare series - MW3 ending This is certainly one of the best game endings - not because its tragic, but after all those missions of hunting that one person down who is responsible for everything, and at the final part you hang him... and its finished. Lighting your sigar at the end knowing its all over as Captain Price. After all those people who died... Ghost, Soap... 2: Bioshock: Infinite I loved the game in general, but the ending was the best of the whole game. To find out Elizabeth is your own daugher - you are the one you are fighting against. Especially because I expected a whole other ending. I'm still a big fan of Bioshock: Infinite, and I played the game multiple times already. This also certainly is a tragic ending, as you get killed by your own daughter at the end. 1: Red Dead Redemption This is one of the most tragic endings ever. The moment you watch trough the hole in the door and you see all the agents, you can feel whats going to happen. And the moment you step outside, and you see about 20 people... it confirms your feeling about what is going to happen. And then, you get shot. I couldn't believe it though. One great thing they added is that, that isn't really the final ending. I love the moment you take control of the son, and hunt down the federal agent who 'betrayed' you - and you shoot the fuck out of him. Anyways, thats my top 3 I could think of, and I'm curious about yours!
