Interesting! I did not know about Microsoft edge support. If true, people will probably have to use older, insecure versions, or third-party, modified versions of Flash. Seems a bit extra really when browsers dropping it will probably be enough to almost completely kill it off as it is.
Microsoft Edge has also said they will be supporting Flash in "Internet Explorer mode", so this seems a bit contradictory. It doesn't seem clear what versions/distributions of Flash this applies to.
Only the version installed on your computerIsn’t there going to be a Windows Update that removes it as well?
It looks like it could break Habflash, it all depends when this kill function was implemented by Adobe. In any case I can use an earlier flash build hopefully. With the small caveat that you should not use Habflash for general browsing as I cannot guarantee it’s integrity. It would be safe to use for Habbo only. Will HabFlash work anyway if that happens?
Then we need a modified version. But wait a minute - Windows said, they will delete flash of all browsers after windows update, but why MS Edge (browser also from microsoft) will support flash until June 2021 in explorer mode? That makes no senseMS Edge will support it in Internet Explorer mode and Internet Explorer in Legacy mode for companies until June 2021.

I also see comments of people thinking they can run an older version of a browser/Flash to run it.
"AsYou must be registered for see linksto ZDNet, the mechanism to kill Flash Player completely isn't actually a part of the latest update and is available for some time — as a part of previous releases. This means that you won't be able to skip the end of life of Flash Player even if you don't install the final update."
So older versions of Flash and browsers won't work.
Microsoft aren't removing it from browsers, only the version installed on Windows - the one you download and install from the Adobe website. Then we need a modified version. But wait a minute - Windows said, they will delete flash of all browsers after windows update, but why MS Edge (browser also from microsoft) will support flash until June 2021 in explorer mode? Windows Update will remove the standalone version and the version on its browsers (MS Edge and IE).Microsoft aren't removing it from browsers, only the version installed on Windows - the one you download and install from the Adobe website.
For companies, yes. Then we need a modified version. But wait a minute - Windows said, they will delete flash of all browsers after windows update, but why MS Edge (browser also from microsoft) will support flash until June 2021 in explorer mode? That makes no sense
