ALS kills animals to test products, however it is still a good cause. Personally i'd do it for cancer research instead of doing it for ALS.

It's due to the iPod being an older gen already seen it on the apple forums.

Not at the moment but from what I've seen and been promised about the development changes it should be a lot better.

IOS 8 is a much needed upgrade and honestly makes it much easier for us developers :)
