Hi,
You may be wondering when you play FSX on steam, why did I save a flight and put it so it always loads that flight? How do I change it back?
It may cause issues such as wrong throttle selection, auto pilot, speed hold always on etc.
Today, I'll show you.
So firstly, you want to find where FSX.cfg is
(C:\Users\$USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX)
You want to open FSX.cfg and find "SITUATION="
when you find it, it'll say your saved flight data, what you want to do is, change it to:
SITUATION=FLIGHTS\OTHER\FLTSIM - This will restore the default flight
Now, save and load up flight simulator x
It'll come up with an error saying "Unable to find file or file is corrupted" (something related) and it'll say that you want to restore the default flight.
You click Yes or Continue.
Finally, your flight is now set back to default and no more having to turn auto pilot off everytime you load into the game!
