Nothing like this ever happens up here, it's always usually down south or in another country, and there you sort of "expect" it to happen.

But yeah, I only live a 15-30 min car drive/single motorway from Manchester, I'm in between Manchester and Liverpool and the atmosphere up here is pretty tense. Buildings I've been to have been raided and people I know have been caught up in it, it's pretty surreal. People are walking on egg-shells

In Newcastle other week after Manchester bomb we had armed police on the street for like 4 days which I knew nothing would happen but you never know, it was mad tho cause I've never seen that many armed police just standing there
