Xampp is just Apache, you set it up the same way you would on a standard web server.

Download the compressed file, extract it to your htdocs folder, navigate to or (if it's not in the root)
Follow the on screen steps

You simply, get XenForo files, and drop them into "htdocs" Xampp has all the required php extensions enabled by default, you're welcome.

I need to get rid of MarioDB or else it won't let me start xampp
Yeah, as it uses the port 3306.

Alright so uninstall "MarioDB" I think you mean MariaDB but yeah,
then you will be able to start MySQL in the XAMPP control panel as rn MariaDB and MySQL are fighting over port 3306.

Once you've done that, all should be good.

Do remember,
No one can access you're XenForo Forum as I presume you're using your local machine.
You will have to portforward port 3306, and port 80.

Remember to head to to set your MySQL Password, as MariaDB and MySQL are seperate programs.

Portforwarding can be challenging depending on your router.

I recommend googling how to port forward on your ISP's hub / router.

Hope this helps.
