[TUT] Working V26 Dcrs [NOOB FRIENDLY]

Simple tut to setting up working v26 dcr's

1. Download from here -

You must be registered for see links

(pm me if link is dead)

2. Extract the folder (dcr) to your desktop

3. Copy the whole dcr folder and paste it in your htdocs

4. open up external_variables.txt (not external_variablesX.txt)

5. Press ctrl & H (opens text replace) when that opens,
In find what, type in : changeme
In replace with, type in: link to your hotel
Then click Replace All

6. The dcrs do work as I used them on my old hotel & I just changed my hotel link into changeme (in the vars)

Because you havent set them up correct, have you changed the vars?

They do work, most likely you are setting them up wrong don't blame the dcrs, next time post what you have a problem with instead of that post it's not needed a little more information would help.

You search "changeme" (no quotes) in the variables and change them to link to where you dcrs are hosted on your server
DO NOT search for changeme in the variablesX

For these peoples that saying dcrs not working :
See if http:// is before changeme , if it is then dont put your link with http:// before
See if http:// is not before change me , if it is not then put your link with http:// before

If your using localhost it would be 127.0.0.1

now you need to link your dcrs/text/vars in housekeeping, also make sure you have instered the correct ports and ip that the server is run on
