Hi,

In this tutorial, I'm going to teach you how to fully develop and create your own habbo roleplay hotel from scratch! Below, I have listed ALL of the things you will need...
  • I will also explain down below what each download is used for and why you need it...
  • NOTE** I have also calculated ABOUT how much memory all of this takes up: 190 MB
  1. XAMPP 1.7.3 -
  2. LogMeIn Hamachi -
  3. OBDC Connector - http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.1.html
  4. MySQL Connector Net 5.2.7 - http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/5.2.html
  5. Microsoft C# Visual Studio 2010 -
  6. WinRar -
  7. Xoa CMS v1 -
  8. Xoa SQL Database -
  9. Obbo Emulator-
Xampp (needed) - is used for hosting your own private servers through your computers' IP/ localhost.
Hamachi (your choice, recommended) - is used for creating virtual networks linking to your private server, so your friends may play your server with you...
OBDC Connector (needed) - Allows your Emulator to run properly, basically.
MySQL Connector Net (needed) - Allows your Emulator to run properly, basically.
Microsoft C# Visual (needed) - This program is used to open the emulator, without it, you can't run the emulator.
WinRar (needed) - This program is needed to open .rar files to extract them...
Xoa CMS v1 (needed) - These are the files you need for your RPs website to load.
Xoa SQL Database (needed) - This is the database, obviously needed for your RP to run at all...
Obbo Emulator (needed) - Obviously needed, nuff 'said.

Now, once you've download ALL 8 of the REQUIRED files above, you may continue with the tutorial...

[FULL TUTORIAL BEGINS BELOW]:

  • So first off after you've installed XAMPP, and finished the setup... Open your C:/ Drive and click on "xampp".
Screenie:
  • Now you'll see a folder called "htdocs" click on that, and then delete the 3 default files out of that folder.
Screenie:

  • Now open up the XoaCMS v1 files with with winrar, and double click "test Copy (2)" folder, and then select every file in there and click "Extract To" at the top and extract them to htdocs.
Screenie:
  • Now find the "XAMPP Control Panel" which should be on your desktop, if not find it. Then start "Apache" and "MySql".
Screenie:
  • We're now ready to add in a database! So enter your browser, (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.) and then type in "localhost/phpmyadmin". Once you're there, you'll see create a database. Enter anything you want as the database name and then click create.
Screenie:
  • Now once you've created your database, click the "Import" tab at the top of the page.
Screenie:
  • Now click "Browse" and find the xoa.sql database text file you installed earlier and click "Go".
Screenie:
  • Now goto and create a password you'll remember...
Screenie:
  • Now if you installed hamachi, open it and click "Create a new network". Name the network the name of your RP hotel, and make the password 123 because it's easiest.
Screenie:
  • Now copy your Hamachi IPv4 address...
Screenie:
  • Paste that address into your browser and put "/install" after the address...
Screenie:
  • It should bring you up to the retros' install page. These are your configuration settings, insert everything carefully and make sure it's all the correct information.
  • Once you've configured all of your hotels' settings in the /install page, make sure you have moved the "config.php" file in the /install folder in your htdocs, to the /includes folder in your htdocs. Once it tells you if you want to "Move and Replace" the config.php files or "Keep Both" or whatever, click "Move and Replace".
  • Now go to "YOUR HAMACHI IP/housekeeping" and login with the administrator account you've created during the /install.
Screenie:
  • Go under the "Settings" tab and click "Hotel". Now change the hotel "IP" to your Hamachi IP. Also erase the External Texts, External Variables, and DCRs. Change those with these:
DCRs:
External Variables:
External Texts:

Then save ALL changes... Screenie:
  • Last thing, to get your RP fully working! Find the "RP IN USE OBBORP.com" Obbo Emulator file you downloaded earlier, and open it up with winRar (default opener, hopefully). Now click on that folder, and extract it to htdocs.
Screenie:
  • Now, the very last thing to do... go into your htdocs folder and then click on the "RP IN USE" file you just extracted into htdocs. Then click on "bin", "Debug", and then "bin" again. Now click on the MySQL configuration text file. Change the settings to your hotels' settings, (if you need help, screenie below.)
Screenie:
  • Your hotel is completely finished. Congratulations! Just save the changes you made to that text configuration file and then go back to beginning of the "RP IN USE" file in htdocs. Then open up the first Microsoft C# Visual Emulator file. Then click the green play button at the top of the program to launch the emulator. Now your client fully works!

Nice tutorial a few things to point out:
  • XAMPP is for a development environment (I suggest using something such as Apache, Nginx or even IIS).
  • If the 190 MB calculation is for everything above then unfortunately this is wrong, with Visual Studios installed you're talking over a couple GB.
Other than that, nice tutorial.

, Just Do the same without installing hamachi, and put your VPS IP for the ip instead of the hamachi ip..
