I am planning to start travelling a lot more (Mainly because of my interest in Photography). I am looking for suggestions on places to travel that are good for both Landscape and Urban photography.

Planned Travel
- Los Angeles
- Switzerland (Zürich)

Ideas Given
- Berlin

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated

I had considered Berlin but I had never heard anybody suggesting that as a good place to go for Photography. I will definitely look into it more as I have considered it before.

I’m also very passionate in photography, I’ve tried to plan travelling around places just like you but I never end up doing anything in the end!

I noticed you’re from Scotland, so I suggest you look for places to travel within Europe, as it would be more cost efficient and typically shorter distances to travel!

Berlin most definitely is a very nice place for photography as @Holmes suggested, other suggestions could be France for the lovable night scenery with delicate lights, nothing too bright. There’s also places like Estonia for the canals or to the west of Denmark to maybe take pictures by the seaside!

Some great suggestions in there. France had crossed my mind but I had never considered it like you mention above. It's certainly a place I can easily travel to. Keeping it within Europe is a good idea as there is a lot of places to travel to regarding photography. My aim is to also get outside the EU for photos because there is a few countries that I believe are fantastic for photos.

I'm very intrested to visit in Scotland. We are probably going to London, to see Pearl Jams gig with my gf, so its an good opportunity to visit in Edingburgh too!
