Server Craft permissioin

HI all i recently brought myself a nice minecraft server did all the update to it. it connects when i want it to but i tryed putting my self as admin and all i get is you do not have the required permissions contact the serveer administrator to sort this error. is there any way i can allow my user to be admin and have all the commands any help would be great

Go into your Minecraft console (CMD Prompt) and do
/op {username}
Then try.

If there perms make sure there all correct.

OP should override any plugin as far as I'm concerned.

That's the point, you don't input it in game.. You type it in the console.
OR
You can go to ops.txt & put your username.
