Introduction
The Other Server Developments/Advertisements Section is a little bit different then the other sections. Therefore in this thread there are 3 sets of rules. The first one are the "Global" rules, these count for both the Developments as Advertisements section. The other 2 speak for themselves.

Keep in mind that when you break one of the rules, you will receive a warning. When you have got 3 warning points, your account will remain limited until one of these points expire.
If you think some rule is missing or have a idea for a new rule, please contact one of the Section Moderators.
Section Moderators
Currently, the Other Server Developments/Advertisements Section is being moderated by 1 (Senior-)Moderators. This is:
- Olympian (Senior Moderator of MMORPG Server Files)
If you have any questions that have to do with the Other Server Developments/Advertisements Section, please contact one of them. However, if you see someone breaking a rule, just report the post instead of starting a conversation with one of them.
Global Rules
The following rules apply for the root & all sub-sections. Please bare in mind that also the
Irrelevant Reply's/Constructive Posts
Messages that are really not irrelevant to the topic E.G "K BRB need a drink", "K", "Nice", etc. Again this is considered as spam and we will take action against your account with an warning, we try out best to clean our sections as members try to reduce the spam. If this does not apply to you, report the problem.
Use of the Report Button:
If someone posts a thread or a comment not following the rules please do not reply to the thread with comments such as "post more screenies, more details pls" and so forth, there is a report button for a reason, please learn to use it. This doesn't mean you can abuse the report button.
Credits:
Credits are always expected on a release thread/post, please respect that people have created releases to share not to have there work stolen and claimed.
Constrictive Criticism:
When replying to a help thread's please give constructive feed back in your post, it would be pointless and not wanted by the person asking for help.
Linking:
Please always make sure that all links keep inside DevBest and not any other rival forums or such material etc.
Development Rules
The following rules apply to the
Downloading Links:
When giving a release please make sure you include a working download link, the release is useless without one and not only that but it can cause spam, by a none working download link your thread will be closed.
Constrictive Criticism:
Server developments are released not only to share on DevBest.com but to receive additional feed back from other members on how to improve etc, please always respect there release by giving them a more constructive criticism on why you hate/like the development.
Edits:
Please don't make threads like 'edit of xserver' as in most cases trivial things are done; if it is a heavy edit it may be approved.
Personal Server Development:
When you open up a development thread, it isn't allowed if it is for yourself (/your server) only.
Requirements:
- There are two screenshots
- There's a brief overview of the project and the goals you have
- It is NOT a ripped source that you are working on without proper credits
Advertisement Rules
The following rules apply to the
Linking:
Please provide a working link in your advertisement thread, any threads providing an invalid link will be closed.
Hiring:
Don't ask to become staff on the server in the thread. There is a special Team Recruitment section for this.
Hate Speech:
Please refrain from insulting anyone such as the staff team, as the advertisement thread is supposed to be productive on a broad prospect of the hotel, not just how "the manager didn't give you a badge when you wanted it".
Who can post a thread:
To post a thread in this section you MUST either be the owner of the server or a member of staff (preferably a high rank) who has permission from the owner to make the thread.
Screen Shots:
Always include atleast two screenshots when posting to give members a quick glance about your server stats and it's features.
Advertising:
Please refrain from advertising in another advertisement, it's not wanted and just causes spam and confusion to other members.
Hamachi:
Hamachi servers are simply not allowed as moderation can not moderate the server its status and causes confusion to other members.
Joining:
Please do not comment on the thread if you wish not to join it causes spam, if you're asking for an inquiry/question you may do so other than that this rule applies.
Closure
The content of this thread can be edited at any time, so make sure you keep track of changes within this thread. Every new rule will be added into the appropriate part of the thread.
Announcements can be added by moderators through a reply to this thread.
