Sub-Section Habbo Advertisement Rules

Linking:
- Please make your hotel link clearly visible in your thread. Your hotel link must link directly to your hotel.

Structure:
- You must provide information about your hotel, when did you open it? is it your first hotel? what makes you different? why should users join your hotel and not others? failing to do so will result in the thread being denied.

Screen Shots:
- In order to create an appealing advertisement thread, you must include at least two(2) screen shots. These must be one (1) of the CMS you are using (invalid for Shockwave hotels) and the other for your client. Screen shots must be kept in working order (ensuring the link is not broken)

Requirement:
- You may not reply to a thread inquiring or asking to become a staff member. Nor can the thread creator look for staff within an advertisement thread.

Hamachi:
- In order for a staff member to test if a Hamachi server is online they to must get the program, because of this it is harder for the moderators to check if a server is still active. Therefore, any Habbo servers running on Hamachi are not allowed to be advertised on DevBest.

Activity:
- Hotels will be periodically tested to ensure that it is still running. If your hotel has been tested and failed to be online during the test, you will be PM'd regarding the issue. Failure to reply within (3) three days will result in thread termination.

Replying:
- Please refrain from posting things such as "Nice, going on soon" "Looks cool". This will be treated as spam as it does not contribute anything to the thread. Also, please refrain from posting serious allegations against hotel owners/staff members without the proof to back your claim. It can be devastating for a hotel to have a bad claim against them if it is untrue.

Facts:
- Your thread must not state any untrue things about your hotel. If you update your server, update your thread. If information in your thread is untrue, it may cause thread termination.

Retros in closed beta are now allowed, providing the rest of the rules are followed. Keep your thread updated and do not tell people to join your Discord server to view any updates.

Due to recent developments and pettiness from a minority of individuals.

As of now, closed beta/private hotels are now no longer allowed to be advertised.
This will be reviewed at a later date
