Using xampp/localhost to do a little testing, and the client won't progress past the dreaded 76%.

Do you need to open ports if you're just running everything off your computer locally?

You don't need port forwarding for localhost, so there's probably another problem (don't know what to be honest, it could be anything).

The problem could be anything. Did you link your swfs correctly, did you set up your client correctly, are you missing things in your db.
