PlusEMU Inventory Disconnection

So some users, when they get about X amount (4000 I think) disconnect when trying to open their inventory. The only way to fix this, is by clearing the users inventory. Is there anyway to prevent this? Such as preventing users from buying more than X items? Or is there a way to fix the limit?
