PHP Encoding

Hey,

So I have a problem when I call information from a database.
Characters are displayed as a diamond with a question mark in the middle.
I have tried using multiple PHP functions to encode each string.
I've tried setting the header type to UTF-8.

Can someone please help me with this?

in your config file set the mysql results in utf 8

Try sticking this into your header.

header("Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1");
