[PHP] Alternative to JSON_PRETTY_PRINT? [/PHP]

Hey guys.

I'm trying to find an alternative to PHP's "JSON_PRETTY_PRINT" for "JSON_ENCODE".
I've searched everywhere but I can't find one.
Problem is, I'm using an older version of PHP on my local server and when I transport it over to my web host, I get errors.

JSON_PRETTY_PRINT only works on PHP 5.4+

For, PHP 5.3 use this function:
